Is this true to size? ie, the chart measurements? as I really want to order this but don't want to go through the hassle of wrong sizing like i have with emerge.

Hi - gorgeous dress and fits perfectly. I am a 10/12 (10 top and 12 bottom) and I ordered Size 38. Very flattering. Can't wait to wear.

After reading the reviews on this item I have to admit my expectations were very high. When the dress arrived every one of those expectations were met. This dress is amazingly simple and elegant and very very flattering. I am usually a 12-14 and the 38 fits perfectly. I will be wearing this little black dress for a long time to come. Could we have it in another colour?

Lovely dress! I am a size 16-18 and was a bit worried it wouldn't fit - or would be tight. It is a lovely fit with a soft jersey material.

Very flattering dress as its gathered around waistline but comes in at the knees, nice fit and comfortable. Very slimming - I'm normally an 8-10 and the 36 fit fantastic. I've also had good complements.

36 in Heine should be a size 8 according to the size guide. Size 12 is 40. Unles Im readying the size & fit guide wrong !!

Love this style but can not buy it - as I am size 8 and 36 is size 12 here as the other reviewer said (thanks Jo!). Can you please offer size 32-24 in Heine, Apart and Capture European - I've been asking about it repeatedly for a long time already but my request did not get a hearing..

Once again another perfect item of clothing from Heine. Im a 12 but always seem to get away with a 36 with this brand, fits to perfection, Im 5ft 4 and it pretty much sits on me as it does on the model, just below the knee, very elegant, very happy with purchase.

Dress has an elegant look to it. I normally buy size 10-12 and the 38 fits perfectly. Material appears more shimmery in the photo than in real life. Very happy with this purchase.
