bridiemain.jpgActress Bridie Carter is well known across Australasia for her role as Tess McLeod on the top-rating drama "McLeod's Daughters".  Bridie has been EziBuy’s Brand Ambassador for the past three years and like many women, has proved herself a highly-efficient multi-tasker, juggling not only her EziBuy role, but also motherhood (Bridie and husband Michael are the proud parents of son Otis) along with her "day job" of actress.  Oh, and she's a great dancer too, overcoming her nerves to kick up her heels in great style and win Australia's "Dancing with the Stars" in 2007.  Bridie's popularity as an actress has also seen her receive public recognition with a host of Logie nominations—in one single year she was named in three separate categories, the Gold Logie, Most Popular Actress and Most Outstanding Actress.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

HI EVERYONE

And a big hello to all those new bloggers - so good to hear from you.

Thankyou for all your lovely words - it is so great to log on and read your messages and get your feedback - as I always say - there are friends all over the world we haven't met yet.

I am back in Byron Bay, and heading back to Sydney next week again. Today, I smelt Spring in the air - it was such a glorious day and the air smelt kind of sweet and full of promise. It's a hopeful smell, Spring - if that makes sense. And everyone seems to have a little smile on their face. It's a pretty nice feeling.

I know the weather is a bit crazt in Europe, but in Australia today it was beautiful - in my little part of Australia, anyway.

I have not seen photos from NIDA do on Saturday, and not sure if my shoes are in shot, but they are some great Ezibuy heals I got about 3 years ago. I love things that don't date - Ezibuy Red Carpet!!!!

Thanks for keeping me up to date with info, Tanja!

It is lovely having a personal connection with Ezibuy, Carla - so glad you have Blogged in. I love these little exchanges we all have - its a great way to keep up to date with fashion, life and what's happening around the world with everyone.

Please try not to stress, Sandra - I hope things are not too difficult for you at the moment. I can get really stressed too - especially when I am so busy. Hot shower or a bath or some exercise or a good chat with a girlfriend can do wonders! Look after yourself. Tell your friend to come to our restaurant when she gets to Byron Bay. It is called Bayside Dining Traditional Thai in Fletcher St near the beach - its really lovely, traditional Thai food.

And hello Monique - you can order from the Netherlands - you just go onto the New Zealand site and its easy. We have people from all over the world who wear Ezibuy. Which is great. Its lovely to have another new voice on line with us.

Just got the new Spring Home catalogue - why am I so obcessed with homeware? I just love it. And there is some great stuff - all those beautiful colours.

I am also addicted to dresses - love a good frock and have just flicked to an Urban Maxi strapless number - very nice!

Look forward to hearing from you, send me all your news - what are your favorites this season?

Hi Bridie

Welcome back here in our little Blog:-)

The photos from NIDA are gorgeous. You are looking amazing, especially your shoes! Hope to see more photos from you, because I saw the last here on the Ezibuy site.

It is very nice to hear, that in Australia the spring is coming. Here in Europe we've got one week very hot days and the other week is it raining!
It's like the weather is one week happy and the other very sad:P

So what are you doing in Sydney? A new project or maybe a new movie?

I wish you a wonderful stay in Sydney and I'm looking forward to hear from you soon.

Best regards

I love logging into your blog to hear what you're up to. Just new to this but have been a fan since McLeod's Daughters.

Spring in Australia sounds lovely, it's Summer in Britain and very very wet and miserable.

Look forward to reading more.

Enjoy your stay in Sydney.

Best wishes.

Hi Bridie!

That is great! thanks for letting me know that I can order through the New Zealand site how funny is that. Now all I have to do is figure out the sizes because they are different here in Holland.

My favorite season is Summer. The sun rises at 5 am in the morning and goes down at 10 or 11 pm at night so we have long days. In winter it won't get light till 9 am and it gets dark at 4 pm.
We have wet weather today here too.

Your restaurant sounds wonderful. I love Thai Food.

Have a wonderful time in Sydney and thank you for your wonderful columns

Hey Bridie!

I know what you mean with the Homewares!! We've recently redecorated our bedroom, so with newly painted walls I set off to find myself a new doona cover and a couple of odds and ends to finish off the room. With all the great sales on at the moment, particularly in manchester, I tried to find the design and colour that I wanted but came home disappointed and empty handed.

Waiting for me at home was my Ezibuy homewares catalogue and as they say.....problem solved. Not only did I find the EXACT pattern and colour I wanted for my doona but also picked up a new set of sheets, a great shoe rack and would you believe, a floating shelf the exact size and colour I wanted that I couldn't locate anywhere else! To my added surprise Ezibuy were also offering free postage which was the icing on the cake for me! I am fast wondering why I bother leaving the house to shop!! Once again another happy customer.......just love the ease and convenience of shopping online!

Yes, bring on Spring......I can smell the jasmine in the air already!!

All the best

Jo

Hey Bridie!
I am new fan of yours from Dallas, Texas USA. Love the McLeod's Daughters series- watched all of Season 1 on a recent business trip to California! Can we (USA) purchase EziBuy clothing online? It all seems to be steered to Australians. Also, are any of your movies available in the United States? You're doing a great job on this blog and as a spokeswoman for EziBuy- keep it up!!
