Pretty cool. My husband is going to love it. Doesn't come with batteries so if you're buying for a gift remember to get some. 3xAAA Bigger than I thought.

I brought this as a bedside alarm clock with the magnifying glass as a bonus. Sadly it doesn't stand up like in the photo. The alarm ringtone is loud and clear enough to get me up though! As for the magnifying glass, it looks ok if you keep it steady, but if you move it over the page the image looks too ripply and disorted to see clearly as the other reviewer said. Great idea, probably should have been twice the price and twice the quality to do the idea justice

Very cute idea - handy size for carrying around, but the quality of the magifying glass is so bad that it actually makes it quite difficult to read through it - all wavy and distorted. Would return it, but not worth spending the postage (got it on special) - so will use the clock.
