P.s. I just saw other people's comments so thought I would respond to how I washed it.... Carefully by hand using a gentle laundry soap-rolled it in a towel to squeeze bulk of moisture out of it and hung it inside on a hanger straight away...

I love this dress - this is the first Heine item I have bought and I am very impressed. I have bought Capture European in 36 but they are always too big, the 36 in Heine is a true size 8. Very fitted dress and just under the knee on me, I am very short and this is perfect.

Beautiful dress, sizing is true, love the fabric and it's going to be just what I need for the cocktail evening. I do need to take it to the drycleaners for pressing. Overall extremely pleased with my purchase

It's certainly a shiny fabric! I love this dress. It really accentuates the waist and, while it's very fitted, the layering hides any bumps!

Great dress, but was a little tight around my bust area, couldn't wear a bra with it but other than that was very happy. Got lots of compliments

I recently brought the Grace Hill layered dress which looked gorgeous but I sent it back as didn't even up being able to attend the event I brought it for and kicked myself ever since so was looking for an alternative and this nearly is it. The colour silver is gorgeous and a bit different, fits well and is flattering, I am a standard 12 so got a 42 and it fitted well all over.

Love this dress. Originally ordered size 38 but had to return for 36 which fits perfectly. I'm normally a 38 so sizing was a bit out but otherwise its a great dress for any occasion.

Very nice dress just too big. Just hung and looked very average on me. I ordered my normal size too.

i love the front of this dress, very forgiving at hiding mummy tummy and adds a nice silhouette. the back of the dress is quite a thin and slinky material so it shows every line of your underwear including spanx (even with a slip as well). this ruined the dress for me.

Ibrought this dress, the back which isnot displayed is just plain.I had to take the sides iin as too big but the bust fits perfectly...the pewter colour looks great with silver jewllery and my red hair!

Well made dress, great price. However was a little too Mother of the Bride for me. Made me look like mutton dressed as lamb! Have returned.

I'm usually a 10 - 12; I bought a 38 that fit my bust perfectly, but you could have fit 2 of behinds in it. Sent it back.

This was a nice dress but unfortunately just didn't fit my body shape that well and was too much extra material under the bust. Also was a bit long for me. Had to return.

This dress in a 16 (1m usually 14 sometimes 16) was tight around hips and abggy thru top. Returned.

Dress feels really lovely on, and looks stunning. Normally I hide in black, so am chuffed that I have broken the mould with this silver colour. Can't wait to wear it to an upcoming wedding, and team it with some chunky bright jewellery.

Love the dress, quite flattering and feels really nice. Sizing was perfect. Only problem was the material has frayed on the side where my bracelete has rubbed against it.

Lovely fitting satin dress. Had lots of positive comments. Doesn't breath though - so get very hot after wearing for a while.

Dress as described. Although I usually wear a size 10 but had to exchange for an 8 but the colour I originally ordered was not available in that size, which was the only disappointment as the silver was a great colour.

Don't go down a size - the black is definitely true to size, however it wasn't flattering on my figure.

I do love this dress, the material and colour. What disappointed me was that the back is completely plain with no rouching/gathering. Just another thing is it does have to be drycleaned

Had high hopes for this dress but was very weirdly shaped for me, massive at the bottom. Also very heavy and chunky feeling to me.

Loved the front and it is extremely comfortable on but the back was not flattering for me at all. Will be returning.

I am a size 8 and ordered 36, which is supposed to be a size 8 equivalent. Well it was way too big! at least two sizes? It was also much longer than what the photo shows on the model. Sent it back. Currently waiting on refund.
